The ROWBERRY Family of Ocle Pitchard
This
tree shows the family of Stephen ROWBERRY and his three wives, and the decendents of his
only son, yet another Stephen, who married Anne BARROW in Bodenham in 1741. Stephen's will
dated 3 Nov 1769 mentions several children, most of whom were baptised in Marden, but by
1759 the family were living in Ocle Pitchard. Two of Stephen's sons raised families here,
but his son Stephen next appears in Chigwell, Essex.
If you have looked at this tree before Sep 2004 you will see that it has undergone considerable revision, thanks to the results of on-going research. The most exciting change was to be able to connect the RUBERY Family of Tipton and Yorkshire back to their Herefordshire roots.
