ROWBERRY Tree One - Thornbury
Showing
the ROWBERRY Family of Thornbury. The first person that we know much about on this tree is Humphrey, whose will describes him as a "Hop Planter". His widow Mary also left a will, mentioning many of her grandchildren, not all of whose baptisms have been found. Although
the family remained in the parish over a considerable period, in time they spread out over a wide area. I believe that the ROWBERRY Family of the USA descends from this tree, and the orange link will take you there. However this is under research and may need revision in the future. Their cousins spread out to Shropshire and parishes in south Herefordshire. Another branch moved to Ocle Pitchard and from there to many places including Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Yorkshire, London and Essex.
